In this video, Adam celebrates some amazing Alliums from garden veg classics such as Onions & Chives to lesser know but even more delicious wild perennials such Babbington Leek & Three Cornered Leek.
If you’d like to discover more about the Alliums mentioned in this video click on the links below for more information and/or suppliers. One word of warning, three cornered leek can be quite invasive so is generally foraged from a hedgerow not planted. If you love the flavour & would like to grow it in your garden then grow in a large tub or pot in dappled shade or in a small bed with deep sides to prevent spreading.
Onion (Boga)
Babington’s Leek (Allium ampeloprasum var. babingtonii)
Onion (Long Florence Red)
Three Cornered Leek (Allium triquetrum)
